Grooming shouldn’t be any different at a show than it is at home.
Your horse should be curried and brushed both before and after your ride. If you need to hose your horse off after it has been ridden, groom it after it has dried (this will reduce the likelihood of your horse wanting to roll). Show Sheen should only be used in tails, and you should use your fingers to pick out shavings (this will reduce breakage).
Trim whiskers, ears, and fetlocks at home before you go.
