Obstacles challenges. First attempts by training horses; Schooling tips

Testing communication skills with obstacles is part of my teaching program for building direction, confidence, and partnership. Doing what horses want is easy, doing what they don’t want is harder. Allowing freedom to say no is a better test then doing it for them. Every horse will say no to something. Being willing is the most important; achievement in communication accomplishments and ingredient in a partnership. These are first attempts after passing “ground control” and “desensitizing” programs in the short time allowed. The better communication used, the less repetition is required. These videos show “real time” teaching in the non-perfect world of my business, not schooled horses performing. This way you can see common problems and how to deal with them. Sending horses to trainers is a last resort so, your horses should do better! Gordon Adair Natural Horse Training Citra (Ocala) Florida www.adairmag.com
