Morgado Lusitano is a little to the South East of Lisbon, about 12 minutes in a taxi from the airport out of rush hour. If you fully appreciate te difference between competitive dressage and classical riding and favour the latter, then Morgado is the place for you. Rodrigo and Charlotte are *exceptional* trainers. Rolkur and side reigns are not something you will see here for the love of their wonderful Lusitano horses – they brim with character. Google them and visit their website. Norman

WHY ARE THESE HORSES IN STALLS , THE POOR HORSES , WHY ARE THEY NOT TURNED OUT ??? bad american riders flock and ride these horses … How horrible for them ….

What is wrong with stalls! Jeez My horse hates been out in the slightest wind or rain and needs to be in at times (like when he is cooling off or when he is on box rest or on cold nights) They aren’t bad jeez and the fact its a holiday destination i would expect they would be getting ridden a lot and bringing them in and out 3+ times a day and grooming is a waste of time. They are cool and comfortable and away from flies. It’s fine.

ARE YOU THAT DUMB or are you 12 ?? horses need to be turned out on pastures with each others … do I have to explain that or are you that clueless …. as usual I find the most idiotic people near horses : congratulation you have the gold medal in imbeciles category

  13. DeathKitty123456on 15 Oct 2009 at

You obviously know nothing about horses! Yes they are turned out from time to time but putting them in a box is fine!!! Btw i am 15 and have been riding for 3 years and have 4 bhs test and am going to study horse behaviour etc at college so don’t lecture me about horses! They are fine in and when flies are about its best place for them so they don’t get sweet itch. I don’t see what your big problem is… There are things like horse slaughter and horse fighting and your ranting about stalls.

Stop making a fool out of yourself … horses need to be turned out during the day with others horses END OF THIS DISCUSSION , YOU HEAR ME

  15. DeathKitty123456on 16 Oct 2009 at

WTF you know nothing… Why do horses need to be turned out during the day these horses could be turned out at night for all you know! Horses don’t mind stables. Get a life.

i agree you obviously know very little about horses if you state that they are abused by living in stables! Many TB horses live alot of their lives in stalls and thats in NZ where we have tons of grass. too much Grass can in fact be deadly to horses! with a name rodeosabouseanimals i am not suprised at your half minded comments

@rodeosabuseanimals search it on the internet or something – horses can be turned out all year and KEPT IN STABLES all year – yes its recomended that they go out for at least a couple of hours a day but its a holiday riding stables so they need to be kept in and rode so ur talking crazy talk
