I have horse riding lessons once a week and the day after my lesson, the top half of my legs really ache, so it hurts when I run or even walk. This only lasts a day and then goes away. Is this normal and is there anything I can do to stop it?

yes absoultly it streches the leg muscles i have horses so ik wat ur talking about its normal dont stress bout it just do some streches and you will be fine!!!
Yes its normal. Try doing some leg stretches
This is perfectly normal. Try doing some stretches but that may not help. After frequent horseback riding lessons for awhile you will stop getting that ache. Good Luck!
It’s very normal. Riding horses works your muscles differently than other exercises. It requires a lot of leg strength, so after you ride, your leg muscles are tired, then they ache because you’re building muscle. Honestly, I don’t think that stretching helps very much, at least not for me… maybe it will for you. For me, the soreness goes away if I ride more often… but when I ride only once a week, it gets worse. It’s just part of horseback riding.
