I ain’t a very experienced rider.
So i ain’t looking for a young green broke horse. All of the ones i’ve looked at and asked others about say that i should get an older horse that is already completely broke.
So now it all comes down the the question of how old is too old to start a horse training for roping.
i found a 8 year old, im just wondering if that’s too old.

An 8 year old is not to old, I would not be afraid to start one roping up to 12+ years old. As long as he is sound and solid. Have fun.
