im mexican the way we do it is pull the string back and say oh but not to back or itll jump up

i stop my horse from moving round by standing in front of him, cuz he wouldnt dare step on me haha then a use both reins from the front to back him up, and quickly mount up. haha i hav fell offf mannyy times, if u rny doind advanced enough things. wheres the fun if there isnt any risk???

You need to tell them whose boss. If you are walking them, hold they’re halter or Reins, and if they’re swaying they’re head, hold it, and sternly say: ex. “Chilly, no.” If you are riding them, you need to say:”No, Chilly!” And you need to hold the reins steady, and tell them were you wanna go.

@Fancy144 pull back on the reins and say wo wo but make sure to pull back towards your chest not your face and make sure your reins and even on both sides
it would be great if all stables had mounting blocks of some sort
