  10. camelotandalusians says:

It works with any horse that you have control over. Make sure your stallion respects you first!

I tried this with my 6 year old Holstiener. It seemed to be working very well, he will pick up his foot but he doesn’t want to shift his body weight back even if i pull back pretty hard on the reins. He’s usually very willing to please, and not stubborn. Any pointers for shifting him backwards and getting the front end to come down?

  16. roxy1774girl says:

Would a 9 year old horse be able to do it?

She can automaticly lift her foot up so what do u say?

  17. iloveetony says:

Do you know how to break a horse i kant find a video for that. i just got a horse thats like 8 bt i need to break him in like everything. in riding, standing still(bt hobbles can help4 that, an daddle and bridle.

to do that, youre horse really have to trust you!

  20. smorrill2 says:

Interesting way of doing it. I taught my horse just by holding her leg and using pressure cues on her neck to lower her head. I never thought of a hobble lol!!!

  21. PoneyCrazy says:

wow that horse is soooo pretty its canter looks so fun in the begging of the video

  22. rabbitsunlimited says:

look up parelli….you can learn everything from ground manners (and very kindly to the horse) then riding for the first time, to collection and finesse.
I strongly suggest using that. also, look up mark rashid, monty roberts…

  23. McProductions9 says:
