I’ve only been riding about a year and a half, and already, I’ve fallen off a horse, had a horse buck for no reason (this happened three times) ridden a two year old, ridden a 4 year old, got a bruise from my saddle horn while cantering and having my 10 year old horse stop suddenly, had my horse come up lame a week before a show i’d been practicing all year for, and had my horse back up for no reason at a fun show-almost bumping into another horse. And people say football is dangerous! HA!

  12. HiGhBlUeFlYeRon 07 Mar 2010 at

@Jellolz then i would like to see you try it. Lets put you on a really fresh horse and let it buck you around for a bit and we will see what you say later if you stay on. you will be sore as fuck

  13. HiGhBlUeFlYeRon 07 Mar 2010 at

  15. dotydotpopon 13 Mar 2010 at

How can people EVER say riding isn’t a sport?!?! What do they know?!?! If it wasn’t a sport, then why is it in the olympics??? And it is also said to be one of the most challenging SPORT on the planet!!! Nobody would ever be able to even stay on over a jump or at the gallop or even at the canter if they weren’t very, very strong, BRAVE, and coordinated. Not only is it great for your body but also for your mind, it is the best sport for your confidence and courage. RIDING IS THE BEST!!!

  16. dotydotpopon 13 Mar 2010 at

    @jillysgem
really, they said that?!?! grr. Well just don’t listen to them i’ve been riding since i was 7 and i kno for SURE that it is NOT dum and it IS a sport (it is in the olympics!) what do they know they’re probably just scared, but you’re not!! They don’t have the courage to zoom around on a horse, but you do!!! remember, hatred is caused by fear. just keep on riding, don’t listen to those bullies, and you’ll be all right!! :)

    havesomeswineflu:

It’s amazing the amount of time you DON’T spend sitting in the saddle and letting our horse do all the work. From the moment you get on, you’re working.

  18. Blackbulliet68on 17 Mar 2010 at

oh really? tell that to the olympic committee. and why dont u try it? u work more muscles in ur body when you ride than when u do any other sport! plus. its actually safer to smoke cannabis all day than to get on a horse.

  19. kooks1118on 20 Mar 2010 at

horseback riding is such a hard sport. you have to trust a animal on your life. the people that think its eay only say that because they are too afraid to try it

  20. Zenyattaluver8on 21 Mar 2010 at

@Jellolz Wow, so, I’m guessing what you do all day is look up videos like this a post rude comments on them, like horeback riding isn’t a sport. You know, I feel kind of sorry for you. It’s sad you don’t have anything to do in your life. Well I know, why don’t you go horseback riding and try to deal with a 1,000-1,5500 lbs animal that doesn’t like what your doing up there and can kill you in a blink of an eye.

  21. Zenyattaluver8on 21 Mar 2010 at

    I meant to say 1,500 not 1,5500

  22. SlippedIntoTheSunon 22 Mar 2010 at

@All you yelling at Jellolz, let us be honest with ourselves. Is the idiotic, indenial, tiny brained child ever going to come back and look at this? … No. So why let him (or her) succeed in trolling? Point. We all know our horses are our lives, and we all know that it *is* a sport. So just read over it and go.
“If he was on a horse. He wouldn’t last 5 minutes without breaking something. So let him fail,” move along, and watch another good video on horses.

  23. amazingmustangstaron 26 Mar 2010 at

so ppl say tht the horse does all the work whn u gt on but truly it is a team work effort.( I LOVE HORSES!!)

  24. BurningAmoreon 29 Mar 2010 at

I love this video. It truely shows everything this sport is about. Everytime we ride, even work with these horses we have to be able to communicate, work together, and of course face the risks of working with a 1,000+ pound animal with it’s own mind and personality.

  25. Twilight161000on 30 Mar 2010 at

Oh my gosh…. that was….. absolutely…. AMAZING!! IM GONNA CRY!! IT WAS THE BEST SONG CHOICE EVER!!! I am a rider myself, and you people better believe that horse riding is NO walk in the park
