The specific horsey-clothing I have are * a helmet * half-chaps * two pairs of breeches (one heavy winter one, one light summer one) * ankle / paddock boots When it's desperately hot, like it is in Hong Kong now (90F and 90% humidity!) I skip the jodhpurs and just wear plain leggings I got at a discount store. If I'm trail riding on vacation somewhere, I just wear jeans and boots. On top, it's just a normal T-shirt. I don't think it matters whether or not it's tucked in, so long as it's not flopping around. I never wear gloves. I’ve been riding for a few years.
