    She is just showing what you should wear if your barn is like blah blah dont come in jeans and T’s which i do ride in sometimes but i dont mind breeches

  4. Neonaxii says:

    You should dress like this if you have an extra 2 thousand dollars lying around >_>

  5. HorseKrazyGal says:

    I wear jodpurs and a top, normal bookts and no gloves…

  6. jazfletcher95 says:

    lol, you dont hav to dress perfect sumtimes i just go down with jeans n wellies n shirt, joggers riding boots, jod boots etc , shorts haha. its up to you what you wear you dont have to dress like her, like your made of money!

  7. xmondayx says:

    I can’ t stand wearing jeans when I ride cause they rub and aren’t very stretchy. And I always wear tall boots cause they help me get my heels down (At a show the other day I left them at hom on accident [an hour away from where we were] and had to warm up in my friends paddoc boots and it was like impossible to get my heels down) but as for the shirt, I don’t like tight fittign shirts and I don’t ever tuck them in (unless at a show, of corse)

  8. rgjt says:

    agreed! even with half-chaps, jeans rub really bad.

  9. lizzieluvsbear says:

    i agree, but it is a lot more comfortable wearing jods :) and plus my jodphurs which are very nice were only like 20 to 30 bucks so they aren’t ilke expensive.
    and gloves help you grip the reins.
    so if you show or ride english, i highly suggest to wear this. if not, well you are right, jeans work fine :)

  10. lizzieluvsbear says:

    i just wear chaps and jodphur boots, which work fine, but besides that i agree :)

  11. EnglishRider288 says:

    I always wear my breeches, and tall boots.:) I love them, They’re just such a comfortable pair. I used to wear my riding gloves all the time, now I only wear them sometimes. Usually ride in a tee or a tank top, gets soo hot riding. haha

  12. gabbers24367 says:

    she forgot to metion that u need a heel on ur boot too

  13. gabbers24367 says:

    samee but i wear breeches 2. (i wore shorts once to….never again lol)

  14. EquitationStar says:

    cantyouread2 – Please try not to use barn helmets all the time, it’s better to get your own, since you have no idea how many times their helmets have been in falls, and they may not fit you correctly. Certain brands can start as low as $30 – go to your local saddlery and they’ll help you out :)

  15. cantyouread2 says:

    thanks, but i already got my own helmet ^^ lol its a black troxel :)

  16. showrider3 says:

    I usually wear jodhpurs or breeches with paddock boots. Sometimes I’ll wear half chaps.I feel like gloved hands aren’t nearly as sensitive as bare ones…..anyway, I was told that the knee patches are to keep your breeches from wearing out in the knees. EquitationStar- I agree with you. I always wear my own helmet, and since it’s a Charles Owen, it molded to my head and is wonderful.

  17. Dolphin8050able says:

    Wait, is the breech patch supposed to be on your thigh or like under your thigh?

  18. StormValleyStables says:

    A) I LOVE my CO helmet!
    B) I use gloves and can feel the horse fine

  19. showrider3 says:

    A)StormValleyStables, I do wear gloves, I was talking about when you’re working with the horse, not riding.
    B) CO are the best, right?!

  20. StormValleyStables says:

    ahhhhhh I see! Yeah! I have the hampton hat for my showing hat, and I want a skull cap for XC and stadium!

  21. showrider3 says:

    I have the JR8(would’ve gotten the GR8 but i bought it with my own money), and I just toss a cover over it for schooling.

  22. StormValleyStables says:

    I have a troxel with a cover for schooling and XC right now

  23. arseant says:

    Well I wear Jodhpurs that areskin tight there heaven and some high boots the look is fab so all should wear the correct clothing

  24. hunterjumperluhver says:

    I just ordered a black on black GPA Titium Pro! I really hope it fits. The Charles Owen I ordered was way too small.

  25. KitaDyer says:

    How much are the pants usually in Canada?

  26. Joyce Lau says:

    I’ve been riding for a few years.
    The specific horsey-clothing I have are
    * a helmet
    * half-chaps
    * two pairs of breeches (one heavy winter one, one light summer one)
    * ankle / paddock boots

    When it’s desperately hot, like it is in Hong Kong now (90F and 90% humidity!) I skip the jodhpurs and just wear plain leggings I got at a discount store.

    If I’m trail riding on vacation somewhere, I just wear jeans and boots.

    On top, it’s just a normal T-shirt. I don’t think it matters whether or not it’s tucked in, so long as it’s not flopping around.

    I never wear gloves.
