Tjerk is a friesian gelding, living in Finland. He has a very gentle and sincere personality, and although he is a muscular and physically strong horse he is really easy to handle with a very little physical power. Tjerk therefore enjoys much going completely bridellss! Tjerk has been working as a TV-star (serial “Pelle Positiivi ja Sinisilmä”), a show horse, a theatre actor and he knows many special horse tricks (laying down, kneeling down, sitting, jumping up). Tjerk is trained for an extreme riding sport, trick/cossack riding ‘zigitovka’, for medieval tournament riding tricks and also for usual dressage. As a zigitovka horse Tjerk has been mainly working with a trick rider Vladimir Georgiev. In this video Tjerk is working with his owner Tina. This video was made when Tjerk was going “liberty” the very firt time, so the basic trust is essential, everything else is easy when tht is ok

COOL!
i am more impressed with the coloured horse standing like a rock in the middle, and not moving while the other one is bombing around
He has got that statue standing talent, allright, wise guy
Though he can move as well: “tinker feija going brideless”
i had a lesson not too long ago and i was jumping and my horses was going mad when this other horse just stoood there lookin at us thinking “oh how lovely…”
Beautiful hors e, iv always wanted a black fresian
im in love with these horses
posting on a friesian is no easy feat. give it a try before you comment.
and she’s sitting trot in case you haven’t noticed lol! try THAT on a friesian! i’m so glad i chose a lusitano instead! i still love friesians, but my poor poor back…
it’s not that easy to sit on a friesian in a trot and i know it!! i always rode without a saddle on her because the owners didn’t have a saddle for her and it was really hard to stay on her in trot!! try it yourself!! so don’t be so rude this lady is doing a great job!!
i always ride my friesian stallion bareback because i only have one jumping saddle and its fitted for my red dun quarter mare =-p
your horse is GOREOUS!!!
i absolutely adore friesian, your so lucky.
in fact all your horses/ponies are lushh. =)
Thanks, my Friesian is a really sweet person. That tinker is pleasant too, but in a different way. Tjerk is innocent like a little puppy, never makes anything against you.
He has been acting again in Finnish TV-serial, performing as a circus horse. He made a really good and quite a difficult role, had to canter freely in the forrest and come against the camera alone…
omg that is so cool! did he pull it off?
