ALL-IN-ONE Bitless Horse Riding with Missy Wryn

IRON FREE Riding is horseback riding at its best. No bit no spurs = no pain. Using pressure instead of pain is how IRON FREE Riding and the ALL-IN-ONE Training Halter Bitless Bridle work. Your horse so wants you to stop using pain to control him/her. When you stop using pain to control, your horse’s trust in you deepens revealing the horse you’ve always wanted. It is a myth to think you have control with a bit in your horse’s mouth. Ask anyone who has been on a run away horse how the bit worked then? The ALL-IN-ONE Training Halter Bitless Bridle is a much safer way to ride using pressure, not pain to control your horse. Unlike other bitless bridles, the release is instant (horses learn from the release of pressure, not the pressure itself), no sliding reins, no pinching under the chin, no vise like pressure on the poll – a much happier horse willing to trust and cooperate with you on a deeper level because you are no longer inflicting pain. PLUS you simply warm up your horse, snap on your reins and go…. No changing out the halter to a bridle. It’s ALL-IN-ONE!! There is no greater honor for me than serving people and their horses. Getting them while they are young is the best bet. It will be hard for me to buy anything over a yearling after my experience with Penny. And we haven’t neared our potential! When you grow up with them they turn from dogs to rideable dogs. It’s awesome! Good luck on your filly!

lol thank you very much, its going to be a couple years away maybe, me and my boyfriend are going to start to build a house! so its going to take a while, after that and the barn is built than that’s when I’m going to start to search for that horse. young is the way to go, thank you.

Wow, thats a really good idea .. you have adorable horses by the way!! :)

i wish i could ride bitless, but my riding school wont let me :(
and to those who believe that bits dont hurt horses mouths: they do. the bit goes on a thin piece of skin which has many nerves beneath it, so when you pull the reins you cause the horse pain so it stops or runs away from the pain, ie turning. heard of horses running from the bit? thats cos they try to run fast enough to get away from the bit cos its really hurting them.

Amazing if you can ride like that :)

I have had many comments/criticisms pointing out that my feet or body are not in the correct riding position etc. Over 20 years ago I broke my back, pelvis & more with now a post whiplash deformed neck & bulging discs into my spinal cord from going off a cliff in a car accident. My positions for riding are as comfortable and in balance as my body allows. I ride my horses connected and balanced no matter my position. I encourage people not to judge others – you don’t know what they live with.

Kudo’s to you for all you been through. There is a lot to respect in building bridle horses. Takes a lot of time and patients advancing a horse from a bosal to spade bit, I admire the Vaquero Style Horsemanship, many disciplines could not be done without the wonderful bits out there that were built by such craftsman. These traditions, must be understood and educated correctly. There are millions of ways to train horses. And any method, tack can be misused, and be abusive in the wrong hands.

i own an arabian mare which i have ridden in a bridle with a snaffle bit all her life she was always very figity and nasty i ended up buying a bitless bridle (nylon) not leather and she was instantly relaxed and didnt buck or pigroot and she jumped 90cm for me with out complaining!!! i beleive it works

  10. Hiloveya12 says:

Yeah? i didnt know that , thats the way i was taught on how to ride. no i ride with a bit and spurs. i dont know if my trainer would every let me ride bridle less and spur less even when i didnt have spurs i always had training spurs

  11. nelsc12 says:

fair enough, i didnt know this either. some one told me and i didnt believe them so i asked my instructor and she said it was true so yeah. well u can always ask, but tbh i cant talk lol. am trying to get bitless, (not bridleless) atm and i think its going well :D x

I believe this is the only humane way to ride a horse. When I was 4-6 years old, I had a pony, and even then I would not allow my parents to put a bit in his mouth. I could see the discomfort it caused their horses. While the pony was mine, he never had a bit in his mouth or a saddle on his back. I rode with a rope halter or nothing at all, and I never lost control of him. If a 4-year-old boy can control a horse without a bit, surely adults can, too!

My horse is truly iron free, Bitless, shoeless, treeless, no spurs. Competes in Endurance riding… can’t beat it

  16. livingmylife00310 says:

beautiful horses!!! how does the bittless bridle work…i ride a VERY strong horse and its hard to control his head with a bit!

  17. halfgoodhalfevil says:

It’s kind of like a halti collar for dogs. Instead of pulling on the cheeks, It moves the head as a whole. (that’s the best way I can describe it)

  18. fwurtz2199 says:

I was wondering what kind of saddle you used? If you did say what it was, I’m sorry, I missed it. Very nice video though!

    Cashel Soft Saddle

  20. yukontanya says:

Having a strong horse, means you dont have a responsive horse, that is your fault. Start over with him, from the ground up, build a relationship where your the leader. you might be surprised what a little effort and time will do

  21. VivaLaVidaChica says:

Totally agre yukontanya. Horses need to learn to respond appropriately to pressure, whatever that pressure might be. Simply fighting them with bigger bits just causes bigger problems. Find a natural horsemanship practitioner you respect and learn some horsemanship skills. You will find a new relationship with your horse you never thought was possible, where you are partners instead of opponents.

never heard of iron free riding before.. it does sound very good and free but i hack my horse out alot and i like the control of the bit

  23. aasjss says:

wish she would of shown how she brings the horse back to her in canter or gallop!

  24. weatherstorms says:

I got my 1st horse and just heard of clicker training and bitless bridles. Well, I started my green horse yesterday with clicker training and by today I was riding him outside with only reins on a bridle!! He did great! It truly can work, I haven’t ever worked with horses and it works for me…I will be posting vids soon to show people how easy it is even for a beginner.
